My neighbor downstairs smoke all day and evening and it is giving me such a headache, plus I am tasting it. Im not all anti smoking or anything crazy like that… your life, your business. But, at the same time its costing me a lot to try all of these things that do not work. I live in New England, its about 2 degrees out, and my bedroom window with a box fan is currently open and running, I put the fan in the opposite way to pull the smoke out. Its “fresher” in there now, but its cold.

I dont know what to do.. I’ve tried everything from candles, to sprays (oust, fabreze, lysol, glade, everything) vinegar in bowls, charcoal in bowls, inscents, Im freezing in my bedroom and the rest of my apartment still smells of smoke…

Their heat is included in their rent, mine is not, and its still cheaper than mine… I thought about asking her to crack her window a little bit when she smokes, but she does so all day so she would probably have to leave it open which she wouldnt want to do… and Im not upset that she wouldnt, but I do need some kind of relief from this.

Moving is not an option, believe me I wish it was! Any advice? Thanks.

It’s driving me nuts. Many “air purifiers” actually produce ozone…ozone that aggravates respiratory symptoms in people like me. Can any air purifier make my air in my office clean and fresh as if it was ventilated, including filtering out ozone? (I don’t mean an ozone-free purifier..I mean a purifier that can not only be ozone free itself..but also eliminate the ozone already in my air).
